Top picnic spots in Baksa, Assam (near Rangia)
In this rat race, we often get confused regarding choice of a Picnic place. Rangia lack hills so, people of Rangia can go these places The distance is not very long or too short.
Since a few years Baksa has emerged as a favourite picnic hotspots for people of Rangia and its suburbs.
Baksa district at present has the following picnic spots.

Bogamati
This is the best picnic spot nearby Rangia if you want a complete picnic spot. The area is the most spacious in comparison to other spots. The river is big and good amount of water sustains throughout the season. From Baihata Chariali you keep going straight towards North until you reach Bogamati. It is aproximately 40 km from Baihata Chariali. You can also reach the spot via Tamulpur. From Tamulpur, you have to take Nagrijuli route.
The people understands Assamese. Most inhabitants nearby are Bodo, Nepalis, and Tea Tribes

This picnic spot is in Bhutan. Entering through Indo-Bhutan border at Samdrup Jongkhar.
